The networking event: a meeting for the young professionals

Wednesday evening, the beautiful rooms of the Société de Lecture in the old town of Geneva were transformed into a meeting place for all Young Professional participating on the ECA2010.
Fully sponsored by the Swiss National Archives, the event was organized by three local students of the Information& Documentation Sciences, Geneva.
An enrichment for the event was not only the generous buffet, but also a groovy background music and an exhibition of photos from local photographers. Another highlight was Mr. Andreas Kellerhals’ motivating speech where he mentioned once more the importance of the younger generation for the surviving of the international archives.
Although, there were expected more participants, it was exactly this familiar atmosphere that permitted everyone to know and talk to his colleagues from all around the world.
Appetizers were tasted, experiences were exchanged… the network of Young Professionals grew step by step.

Sharing ideas and experience: the ECA mentorship programme
